won’t stop ‘til it’s over, won’t stop to surrender
hints of a darker side to the eleventh doctor
I can’t even begin to explain how much Eleven breaks my heart. He has these emotions that we’ve seen in Nine or Ten, but he tries to internalize them and not release them. And then a time of distress or fear comes along, a moment where even Eleven doubts his abilities, and it’s all released. And even though those people want to be there— even though he does so much good for all of humanity & the universe— he hates himself. Because there are those he’s let down, those he’s harmed.
And that makes me cry.

He heard her shout. And he never been more proud. Look at her. Shouting their names like they aren’t anything. Because they are nothing, she destroyed them, for him and she’ll do it again.

Rose: Last night I had a dream. I heard a voice and it was calling my name. I told Mum and Dad. And Mickey. Anyone else would think I was mad. Not those three. They believed it. Because they’ve met The Doctor. So they listened to the dream. And that night, we packed up. Got into Dad’s old jeep and off we went. Just like the dream said. Followed the voice. Across the water. Kept on driving hundreds and hundreds of miles. ‘Cause he’s calling. Here I am, at last. And this is the story of how I died.
